This jacket is really cute but if you wash and dry it you need to order at least one size bigger maybe 2. I wanted XXL (18) so it can be worn over sweaters and such next fall but for now it suits him. It seems to fit more like 14 or max 14-16 after washing and drying. I have not used hot water on any of them but they still shrink and I absolutely refuse Drying my baby clothes just so companies don't pre-shrink their fabrics before production. So if you really need 18 I say skip it and find something better but if you can only buy a size or 2 bigger these jackets are really cute and lovely and soft on the inside and seem like a good warm jacket for him to be spring. Also this price is worth a try.
