This is a replacement earphone. I have used the first one with two cats for over a year and am now switching to crystal litter. I'm replacing the pad as the original pad wasn't cleaned well and wasn't fully waterproof when I tried to soak it clean to remove dust. (I wouldn't have to clean this way if I didn't change the brand of litter.) In my opinion there is no perfect way to care for a tray and there is no such thing as a perfect tray, but this is the best and easiest one I have. found it! Instead of replacing the whole box when it gets really dirty and the urine eats away at the plastic, I can just replace the liner! The size of the box is large because it is so high, with the possibility of opening the lid completely, partially or closing the hole almost completely.
