Hot, regardless of the lid used.

I bought a 25 lb blanket based on body weight guidelines. I fall asleep faster with a duvet, but even with a cool Max case, it's HOT! If you are a hot sleeper, this blanket is not suitable for full coverage unless you are very cold during your sleep. It has helped me sleep even though I have to keep parts of myself open to stay cool enough.
