this basket was easy to install - no thanks to the instructions. ZERO ZERO ZERO in strength. Should he keep the animal? I put my keys, a small water bottle, a bike lock and some other small items in it and the basket kept falling forward. it was pulled as far as possible and still fell further forward. drove very hard. not cool at all. I hate putting the dog in the basket - it can fall forward and out. Bad choice, bad product. first used 6/9. was so excited and very disappointed at the same time. WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING. The instability was so severe that the front bottom of the basket was constantly rubbing against the front wheel. I did some research and judging by the videos and photos I showed my bike with a basket on the handlebars. that's why i bought it. I have a 7 speed Cruiser 28" Schwinn - yellow/beige will post pics soon
