Honest review.: Microphones and accessories

Okay. Totally unbiased review. I wanted a new arrow because. mine broke recently. I needed a solid one as I have a pretty heavy mic. When I got the box in the mail, it looked like a wrecked train. She was crooked and taped all over, looking like she'd survived a hurricane. But still the arrow was fine. The reason I'm writing this is because I couldn't find a review about it anywhere. So I want to share my thoughts. When I opened the box, inside was an arrow, instructions, a warranty card, a screw, a nut, and some kind of plate. But I missed the clamp that attaches to the table. I opened it up in a flat open area so I didn't lose it anywhere. Still, I have a base that I can use as long as the company sends me a new base. It's a pretty decent arrow. It's very solid until it rises about 3-4 inches from my desk, then it tends to look loose and falls off completely. But at around 5-6 inches and up off the table, this is one of the strongest arrows I've used. Especially if you use it as a book armrest, it's perfect for that. Another downside is that the cable clips on the back aren't designed for my cables. I have a decent XLR cable so the wire is a bit thicker and the clips don't stay quite at the ends but in the middle. clamp normally. (You can move the clamps up and down). So everything works. All in all a really good arrow for the price. And I'm definitely keeping it. Definitely recommended if you're looking to buy.
