I have to say I think most of the 5 star reviews for this product are fake. This hair clipper set is very trashy. It only comes with a couple of pads which are too short for my needs, the longest is 15mm long which is around 5mm. It's advertised as quiet for use on babies and toddlers, but not many kids wear Buzz. cut all the time. I usually do 8 on the back and sides and 12 on the top for my little one so this silent cutter I used on him doesn't even work for him. Also, the shields are made of fairly flimsy plastic. The only thing I like about it is that it's cordless, which wasn't the case with my recent cutters which have been dropped and broken. They cut tight enough with no protection to eliminate the cut so I decided to keep them for that reason and also because they are ok for the price but if I had spent even a dollar more I would probably send back.
