My husband's hand is XL and he wears 20 ounce glasses. This 16 ounce jar is for my small hand. Both are just under 6 inches tall. Just perfect! Strong and NOT heavy bottom. Update: I bought the same set a year ago (there were 4 in the set). It seems easier to break, although I liked it. So I decided to order the same again (now 6 in a set). After waiting a few days due to a backorder, I was thrilled to discover and inspect each jar. All had stains on or in their lenses and scratches. I exchanged it but 1 glass was broken and the others had stains or scratches again. This set also had a different packaging. The quality of the glasses has changed. Very disappointed.
