I'm from Florida so I know I shouldn't ride when it's snowing. However, there are times when I still have to go to work. When I was looking for snow chains, I came across AutoSock on the internet. I was worried about how difficult it would be to put the chains on. I watched some videos about AutoSock and decided to give it a try. When I first used it I was amazed. I could drive around safely. There are several steep hills in Seattle, and when it snows it's almost impossible to get around. Once I put them on, I was able to ride staggered hills with no issues. And they're just as easy to put on as the cloth/leather tires you see on the back of a Jeep. They have the same restrictions as snow chains: do not drive faster than 35 miles per hour. Do not drive on unpaved roads. After all, they are cloth, and dry earth will tear them apart. The first pair I have for my van are torn in a few spots but they still work fine but I will be ordering replacements. Try her. I guarantee you will be amazed.
