The gooseneck is fine (so far) and its clip attaches fairly well to the table, but the mic holders that come with it are terrible. It was cheap I know but still not worth the money. The mic clip immediately lost both springs the FIRST time I pressed it, rendering it unusable. This and other mounts have mount-to-stand adapters molded into the mount so you can't remove one and use it with another mount (I have a feeling this manufacturer made them from molds of someone else's mic mounts ). , not noticing that the lower part had to be unscrewed). I had to buy my own adapter elsewhere.
