I have walnut base and was very happy with it based on reviews. I actually got 2 cheaper ones and they are great. The reviews really pumped me up and it was so disappointing. It was opened as another reviewer mentioned because the seal was broken and I can't believe it was originally packaged the way I found it. Also, the Revain was delivered to the wrong address, but the outer packaging didn't appear to have been opened when I finally found it in my mailbox the day after the Revain driver said he'd passed it straight to me. And the most disappointing thing was that the front, open side had a VERY SIMPLE wood texture. However, on the back was a beautiful grain that no one can see! I love my wood and especially walnut with its rich colors and often beautiful textures. This piece has a beautiful grain on the wrong side! VERY DISAPPOINTED. I haven't decided yet whether I'll come back or not. I have to go back for the price! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I have contacted the retailer and if they replace it as promised I will revise this review significantly based on customer service. Updating this review. SUPER customer service! They replaced it immediately and that's the quality I expected based on previous reviews! Worth the extra cost. The magnets are SUPER strong! At least twice as strong as others I've tried! And the tree is just beautiful! Beautiful grain on the outside that shows with use! It is absolutely AMAZING! If you love grained wood and strong magnets then you will love this company! QUALITY from start to finish with product and customer service! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
