update - they didn't last more than 4 months. All the benefits I wrote about are gone. They turned into balls with my clothes in the dryer. There is no longevity here. They don't last long and are overpriced for the long run. I'm very glad I found this yarn ball brand! I've tried others that don't compare! They are big and very soft. There are 6 balls in a bag. I've been using them for about a month now and they certainly dry my clothes evenly. I don't need fabric softener sheets so I'm saving $, they prevent static electricity from clinging and have a nice, subtle scent. I've also noticed a reduction in drying time. I use 3 for heavy loads and 2 for medium/small ones. They come in a handy pouch that looks durable and pretty. The price was great for all the benefits I get from using them now. Definitely recommend!
