I bought them in black first to see if they fit me and if I like them. I ordered 2XL in black and they fit. They were a bit tight at first but stretched after I wore them for a week so they are true to size. I came back to order a few more pairs and settled on a beige pair. The beige pair is huge. I put them on and had so much excess that it felt like it was choking my system as I pulled all the excess material over the hip curve. I then pulled the excess piece down and spread it out over the whole leg. The compression is still as strong as the blacks, so I'll leave it. So if your weight/height makes you concerned about whether they will fit, opt for beige to give yourself a little more room. I'm 5'6" 228.
