Removing the old cartridge required a sideways bend. I have previously replaced two rp4933 seals but the leak was still there. This time I received a whole cartridge. Use plumber's grease on two small o-rings and one large o-ring. Use a rag/old toothbrush to clean and rinse the holes that the o-rings fit into. *** When a cartridge is installed, it can only go in about 1/8 inch, leaving about 1/8 inch more. Push on the center brass rod (wear gloves) to move it the rest of the way - apparently these new o-rings have enough resistance even when lubricated. Incidentally, a closer visual inspection revealed a microcrack on one of the two plastic water pipes with an O-ring on it (I didn't notice the first time). I couldn't even feel the crack, but there was brown mold around this very thin crack, so that was the source of the drips. *** My hood cover was fortunately removed by hand and I smeared the threads with rooster grease before putting it back on; tighten only hand-tight.
