Review on 🔨 WEN 61741 Flooring Nailer - 18 Gauge, Pneumatic-Driven by Lamar Marshall

This really complements my review of the "more expensive" tool, the Bostitch EHF1838K-R 18-Gauge Oil-Free Engineered Floor Stapler, three times the price but worth it. Most of my air tools are BOSTITCH and they really are the best. Had to do technical floors (not my usual job) and less than 500m². ft. You can use the nail puller simply by holding it at an angle to the tip of your tongue. My "drive nailer" damaged the fragile top edge so we needed this type of tool for the job. Wen 61741 seemed perfect for the price but wasn't happy with the tool when it arrived (from Revain of course)! The pneumatic sections were just perfect and well constructed, but the attached 45 degree "shoe" was poorly constructed, difficult to adjust, and could break before the job was complete. It was possible to remove the shoe, but why buy this special tool? Came back and updated to Bostitch EHF1838K and of course the tool is perfect. Was really disappointed because the instrument otherwise seemed well made. The price difference is really significant. Wen should consider revamping the front of the shoe. As usual. When it seems too good to be true.
