Wow! This fuse holder is a beast! The quality of the wires is top notch. all copper wires (AWM is a 150°C rated electrical wiring material with a strong PVC jacket). The fuse holder sockets are robust and hold the fuse plates very tightly, which means good electrical contact that won't loosen with vibration. The main body also has a 1/4" hole right in the center for attaching with a screw, mounting bolt or strap! The lid is thick and provides a good watertight seal. an extra fuse box from one of the batteries for fuses from accessories such as Reversing lights It's not like it used to be as today's cars have an ECM and a PCM most of which are 5V!You will never want to connect to existing car wiring.on modern cars with manufacturers testing the full current rating of each Use the cord! This fuse holder far exceeded my expectations and would heartily recommend it (I've been an electrician for years!). This is great for powering a fuse box like the Blue Seas or Hellas (both can be found here at Revain !) straight out of the battery You should be able to snip that main wire between the battery and the fuse box and this one does it in style! Using 6 ga wire, this fuse holder will handle up to 100 amps at 12 volts - with up to 20 feet of wire.
