A good board needs the right combination of memory and processor

I've since tried other memory and it's really strange that the faulty combination of memory and processor started to work. SIGH! So now I have 8GB of memory, but I mostly use 32-bit XP. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- I bought this board to use as a RAID 5 backup for my ASUS 775 socket board. I put a Celeron Core2DUO on top and that was fine until I decided to put in a faster processor. For the E6420 (2.13/4M/1066/86) processor, it beeps three times when turned on, which means that the memory is incompatible. I ordered the recommended memory from the Crucial website for this setup and will be trying it out soon to see if I can keep the faster processor. The only other issue is that the battery installation is weird and I ended up breaking it and having to reattach it. It is not clear how to remove/replace it. The ICH10R Raid chipset works fine but you need to pay attention to the software requirements so you have .NET 3.5 installed. NOT 2.x AND NOT 4.X but only 3.5 allows you to install the software to manage the raid windows.
