I'm IMPOSSIBLE at sharpening knives

I'm IMPOSSIBLE at sharpening knives. I have used stones, slingshots, diamonds and ceramics. Every time I tried to sharpen a dull knife, it always felt duller than when I first started. That's the cure for idiots like me. As counterintuitive as it may seem, follow the instructions (however poorly translated they may be). With practice, blades can be intimidatingly sharp, especially fixed blades like the mora. This is not the sharpener you would use to sharpen a knife you used to remove concrete and rebar last week, but to sharpen a knife that has become dull from intended use. I seriously have no hair on my left arm after reviewing my initial successes at making a dull razor.
