Bought this as a gift for my grandparents who LOVE photography but are very limited in technology. I had some concerns before purchasing, but after reading the reviews and setting this thing up, it works better than I was hoping. I decided to write a review to help others in the same situation. So here are the best features of this photo frame: - The pictures look amazing, the IPS LCD panel is better than I expected for the price, it's great. The ability to add photos remotely via the app after gifting a frame is also awesome as not everyone lives close to the person they are gifting it to. You can always easily update it by adding more photos. Multiple people can add photos remotely, which again is great. There is no touch screen. Listen to me, this is GREAT. My grandparents love collecting photos and touching them everywhere. In the past, whenever I gave them a smartphone or tablet to show them a photo, they immediately swiped or touched something and the image disappeared or they looked at a different image when I gave them the smartphone. So the lack of a touchscreen is just fantastic. I applaud the designer who decided to use the remote control to control the frame. Also, this frame plugs into an outlet in your living room, which means that when you turn on the light switch, the lamp and this frame turn on. I understand the frame isn't designed for this so I was initially worried it might ruin something. But that's not the case, it works perfectly! When the frame is activated, it takes a few seconds to load, but then the slideshow continues as intended. Excellent. I'm very impressed to be honest, I expected to run into some issues while setting it up, but I had no problems. I just hope they keep making this frame as I will likely be buying more as gifts in the future.
