Disappointing design

Looks better on the picture than the real thing. In real life the finish of the product looks pretty cheap and the torso is much wider and shorter than it looks - the padding is actually a few inches above my waist which keeps my waist open (I'm 5'10"). , 155 lbs, waist 32, and I ordered a size L. The main flaw with the design is that the shoulder pad only protects the front of the shoulders and forearms, with the back of the shoulders and forearms being the most common point of impact. Some pads have two layers of foam , one denser than the other, but most pads aren't really armored - higher foam density isn't the same as nylon armor. The elbows are armored, but the armor doesn't seem particularly strong, and the padding on the inside of the elbow pads is not soft enough. When you step into the vest, it rises and the front cutout presses against your windpipe. Into the A There is a huge neckline in the armpits, but still you feel like there is not enough freedom of movement when raising your arms. Overall, it doesn't feel like a $175 product. I ordered several body armors and when this one arrived I thought it was one of the cheapest I've ordered and it wasn't until I checked it that I realized it was expensive. I'd keep it if it was $20 or $30, but it's back for $175.
