First of all - picture and some descriptions are ambiguous whether one or two - you will get one when you order one 'installed'. n Since that's all I expected, I'm fine. I bought this to replace a dead ECCO backup alarm. I thought it would be an easy swap, but it's not. The reason is that the pins on the Federal are much smaller (around #6) and closer together than those on the ECCO (around #12 - 7/32) so all of my electrical connections had to be changed to the smaller size. A few minutes of work turned into an hour of work under the car and fiddling with cables in a confined space. The sound is quite loud and slightly higher than the ECCO. Further observations show that the posts have a lower water intrusion profile when transitioning to epoxy blocks compared to dead ECCO. But only time will tell if this observation is correct.
