I made a fireplace decoration for the holidays using a Kindle with a fireplace app. It works fine except it only works for a little over 2 hours. I bought this mini monitor to connect to a small DVD player to replace my Kindle. This new installation looks great in the fireplace and runs all evening. Only criticism is that the remote control doesn't work. I checked the battery and it was fine, so the remote must be faulty. But that's not a problem for my use. The photo shows a fireplace with a working Kindle.
