I didn't expect these collars to work so well! First, they're really strong and slightly elastic so the mother dog won't pull them off and the puppies won't pull each other for them like you might worry - soft elastic collars don't stretch. get stuck in the fur, the way they attach to themselves leaves no velcro at all to hook into the fur. Perfect! In our litter of 10 guard dog puppies, this allows us to track each pup for weight, behavior, temperament etc. I can put the right puppy in the right home because I know exactly which puppy is which! (Both of our dogs are XXL, mom is over 100lbs and dad is 150lbs. I bought XL size collars and they fit these puppies easily while we have them! Messy!)
