Wow. This is a well matched pair of small condenser microphones. I have a large collection of microphones ranging from $1,000 to $50. I read a review of these mics on another site and thought that for the price they might work as a second pair of overhead mics or for stereo recording on an acoustic guitar. You impressed me the first time. Their build quality is very good, they are exceptionally light but strong. No more heavy stands for heavier mics on overhead drums! They also sound detailed. They are not thin, not heavy bass and not medium. They sound very believable, with some punch in the upper midrange towards the high frequencies. However, they definitely don't feel flimsy (which I feared before trying them). Haven't used them as overheads yet, only for acoustic guitar and while they don't sound like some of my other mics (albeit much more expensive mics) they sound very, very good. Not to mention how easy and simple they are to set up. I definitely recommend them to everyone. The sweet sounding microphone is here!
