I ordered this as a replacement as I lost my original surface 3 charger somewhere that plugged into my surface! Luckily I wasn't worried about fire, but the "gold" contacts shouldn't be gold, because they started to burn more and more, and the magnetic connection got weaker and weaker, and after a month and a half it completely died. I started connecting the charger in a weird way. It was getting harder and harder to keep in touch with charging. A few days ago it stopped loading completely. I have ordered a replacement KABCON Surface 65W 15V 4A Power Adapter for Microsoft Surface Book Pro 3 and Pro 4 with 6ft power cord including storage pouch (Gold). OMG, the care and attention Kabcon puts into their product is so evident! I forgot what a real magnetic connection is! IF IT IS UNCLEAR, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT (an Aryee product). THIS WILL DIE TO YOU.
