This fan is not manufactured by Honeywell as stated by Revain. It is manufactured by Hong Kong China Electric Appliance, LTD. The Honeywell trademark is used under license and "Honeywell makes no representations or warranties with respect to this product." while HKCEA has Memphis TN, address and telephone number 877. This product looks good, is well balanced and is well priced. Also the blades are plastic as advertised but the additional comment "These tropical oil rubbed bronze blades are classically designed to look stylish" is incorrect. Stylish, yes, "oil rubbed bronze". no Again, another misquote is "Material: Metal/Glass/Wood". The only wood I can find is a "cardboard" packing box. I bought 5 fans for my covered patio, I'm happy with the price. I also added 5 wireless programmable remotes with a light dimming button and 3 fan speed buttons. Works perfectly. I highly recommend this option. So the misleading advertising cost this fan 1 to 2 stars. This is a 4 star fan in my opinion minus one star for misleading advertising hence my 3 star rating.
