1. Listen to the feedback on the M and W widths - if you're somewhere in between or slightly more than M, or your foot swells throughout the day, go for the W width. You'll mainly feel it in the plantar cup, which your foot lands on. Also, the arch of the foot is so high that it inevitably causes your foot to swing a little more than normal. 2. Listen to reviews of chunky/chunky/heavy sandals - if you're looking for a cute, lightweight, everyday sandal that can be used for everything, I wouldn't recommend this one. These are tough, durable athletic sandals for the avid hiker or water adventurer. I found them comfortable to wear at home, but the weight and high arch of the sandal (presumably for added arch support) can get boring very quickly. At least for me.3. Ignore reviews of loose belts. The straps are adjustable in all directions. All of them! The shoes even come with instructions in the box on how to make it. There is a video how to do it. They are designed for every foot. You just have to make adjustments. No, it's not difficult at all.4. The straps are soft and, when adjusted correctly, do not impede blood circulation. The strap on the big toe was neither incisive nor incisive. I found it soft and comfortable. For comparison, when I got my first pair of Birkenstock Gizeh flip flops, I had to spend days breaking them in precisely because the toe was so hard it felt like it was trying to cut off my finger. After getting used to them, they became my favorite slide. If I wear hiking sandals, I might keep these soft, comfy chacos. But they are too heavy and bulky for me to wear as casual sandals, which is what I was looking for.
