Review on DAMA Inflatable Fishing Backpack Floating by Marcus Price

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The board is good! Oar ehhh.

I love how easy it is to carry. I think the main complaint with inflatables is that it takes a long time to set up due to inflation time, but as someone who has used rigid SUPs I would say the time it takes to set up a rigid board is about the same as for the installation of an inflatable boat. This is the first inflatable board I've ever used and I love how light it is compared to its stiffness. , and the way it stays above the water a lot more so I'm drier when paddling. While there aren't any complaints about the board itself I think it's great and all the included accessories work well! Except for the paddle. I bought it on purpose because it has a dual paddle, but the paddle is by far the weakest part of the package. The end of the oar, where a regular handle or other oar can be attached, does not hold well, twists and pushes inward. The paddle mount is definitely not long enough to use and water keeps dripping on you and you end up getting wet. Also, it only rotates when you walk, so you have to constantly readjust. And the "normal" part of the handle pushes in farther as you row, which isn't great considering the push down is a continuous rowing motion. He also spins with this device. Because the paddle is such a big part of paddleboarding, I don't really want to recommend this board to others.
