So that you know you are old as you approach the light and try to read better. to announce to everyone that you're getting old, even if you don't have wrinkles yet! I went to the ophthalmologist for visual impairment and he prescribed me a normal magnifying glass because I was already there. I asked to bring my old frame to get another pair and he said I could put new lenses in for $50 or you could get a few pairs elsewhere for a lot less. I did, and I can see easily again! I'm glad there are so many. One for work, one for the bedroom, one for the home office, one for the kitchen, one for the walk, they're everywhere now but I have to say so I use them! They are light and comfortable. I have the blue ones because I'm always working on my computer or kindle, I guess it can't hurt. And the blue glow on my prescription glasses would have cost another $40. I'm glad I can see clearly again and I love these 1.25 glasses.
