Waste of Time Computers and Accessories

I never thought a computer cable would make me cry, but disappointment that I banged my head against the wall with it so hard it's amazing I didn't get a concussion. Installation was easy. The screen turned on and I believe it was of decent quality to begin with. I believe that successfully a day has passed without problems. The second day was a different story. The screen flickered and wavy lines seemed to run across it. I wiggled the cord and was able to leave it on long enough to get my tasks done for the day. Or so I thought. Later that night I turned the computer back on and the screen wouldn't come on at all. Thinking that maybe I didn't install it properly, I tried to unplug the cable and it was a nightmare. Cannot be unscrewed from the monitor. General. Just a bit. I twisted and twisted and twisted the dial, but the cable because it didn't get close to the computer's free exit. After about half an hour I was able to pull it out. But then I had to do the second side, and it was even worse! At first he didn't turn around, period. I ended up getting out my pliers and wrestling with it for another half hour and by the end of that time the dial had completely separated from the cord leaving the screw in my computer. It took another half hour of fighting, cursing and praying to get out. Unscrewing it from the computer itself was easier, although I had the same problem when the drive detached from the screw and had to unscrew the screw separately. As a result, I struggled with this stupid cord ugliness for about 2 hours. The cable was unusable when I received it so I had to buy a new one from another company. I showed my friend who works in IT the already broken cable and he quickly summed it up as a poorly made product made from cheap materials. Now he doesn't trust me to buy computer equipment unsupervised. The cable has since been scrapped as it no longer works and probably isn't covered by a return guarantee as I used it with pliers. I'm just glad I never have to see him again. 0/10 will never buy again

Pros
  • The combination of gold-plated connectors and bare copper conductors gives this computer monitor cable the superior performance of an RGB cable
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
