I am not a professional solderer. I received this kit so I could set up a battery powered clock to use the DC adapter instead. he seemed to accomplish that task, just as I had hoped. Good that everything fits in one suitcase. most likely it was a difficult case, but not decisive. I did my work on the kitchen table about 4-5 feet from the ship. I wish the power cord was longer, I had to get an extension cord so I could sit and work further from the wall. probably good if you have a dedicated workspace. After one use I have no problems with the kit.
