Not what was intended. Guilty.
One side white cotton, soft batting that fits on my Makita sander (like velcro). It fits perfectly, says Deminsion. The black side is also similar to velcro, hook but not attach to the grinder. hook to hook. The black side is not intended for polishing, most likely I will melt the surface when rubbing. The white soft cotton side should be the polished side for the application I was going to use it for. I thought it was for polishing. Maybe I misread the description. It's just not what I thought. 3 stars because I can send it back.
