Date function does not work. but that's ok, probably couldn't see it if it was. He was already wearing the watch when he noticed this and couldn't return it due to the fact that it was on. These are dark hours, one of the reasons my husband wanted them as he has light sensitive eyes. However, he thought the hands would glow in the dark so you could read it, but they don't. Bad assumption on his part, but overall he is not very happy with the purchase, it is difficult to read because it is dark. He loves patterns and will likely continue to buy them in the future.
