for my Halloween decorations from the ceiling and required a ladder to turn them on and off manually. I was a bit concerned by the reviews and the information included that said the battery drains quickly when the light is turned on and off with the remote control. (The manufacturer has kindly provided you with a part number so you can buy the exact same batteries as they do, which is very important.) Luckily I didn't have this problem. They sat outside (in a very humid climate) with the switches on (on 6 hours a day) for three weeks and still work. I was surprised that the timer feature, which I thought would just turn the light off after six hours, had it turn on and off at the same time when I first used it, so it turned off every night turned themselves on and later turned off in the evening. Night. I don't feel like this feature was described, but it was great. My only complaint was that the remote control is very sensitive, although the lights were quite close together I had to point the remote at them one at a time. However, it was still easy and fast, so it's not really a problem. I highly recommend them for adding magic to those hard-to-reach spots!
