Review on ASUS VA24DQ Frameless Adaptive Sync Display - Blue Light Filter, Flicker-Free & Eye Care Support. by Brian Bellamy

Great bang for the buck

I needed a much better second monitor that wasn't from an old 2008 Dell desktop that only had a VGA port. This works perfectly for me. So for those who "cannot mount the display on the wall". The built-in stand comes out. You pull the plastic case and it slides out, then loosen 2 screws and you're good to go. Easy if you have a brain. Image quality is very good and appears to be fairly accurate. I used this for more single player games like Hitman 3 and Assassin's Creed VH because the picture is much better and at 75 hours it's enough to play with all the max settings. I wouldn't recommend it for FPS gaming due to this limitation, and that's what my other monitor is designed for. Look, if you want a monitor for your kids to play PlayStation/Xbox, that's great. If you just want a second monitor that isn't junk and looks good, that works. But it comes at a price because you really can't get better.

Pros
  • Excellent
Cons
  • The viewing angle of the monitor is too narrow.
