I get the best edge when the tile is facing down

This is a glass blade at an affordable price. I had a regular tile saw that would eat glass tile. You need to be slow with it and be patient while cutting. I get the best edge when the tile is facing down. Also tape any tiles that have small parts like sticks on them to keep them from flying off. This sanding disc is also better for cleaning bumps: GP15101 Diamond hand sanding disc for grinding, grinding, polishing and for sharp edges / for glass, stone, marble, concrete / grit A+ / grit 400 - fine
