Disappointed, this was exactly what I was looking for to put up a wedding arch for my daughter's wedding reception. They fit perfectly and I was happy to use them, setting a timer to turn them on and stay at the wedding reception. At first I couldn't get the remote to work at all, then I was able to turn the light on using the button on the unit, but I couldn't get any functions other than on and off to work. No timer, no way to change how the lights work. But at least they looked good on my sheet and stayed. After the wedding we removed them and recently I decided to use them in my Christmas decorations. Finally the remote control worked by changing the battery. Worked fine for 2 weeks. Batteries in the block died, were replaced with new ones. Nothing. Nothing works now. Very disappointed. So, I have a nice set of lights hanging on my cave that aren't working.
