If you've ever thought that a wine glass didn't affect the taste of wine, these will definitely change your attitude. I know I always thought any old wine glass would do! However, after that, using a different pair of glasses is almost painful. The goblet shape of the glass and the wider opening at the top really bring out the great taste of most red wines. I'll say right away that I'm not a snob or a wine connoisseur, but I do drink a lot of mid-range red wines (usually $10-$30 a bottle). You can also taste the difference at informal tastings with friends and family. I know they're called burgundy glasses but I mainly drink Cab's and Malbec's and I think they're worth every penny. However, as mentioned above, I'm not a fan of high-end wines and don't have a classical education, so take it for what it's worth.
