I don't think you can beat it for the price. Fairly water resistant (splashes from puddles and melting snow) but I haven't worn it in a downpour or anything like that. Very warm and cozy, with a nice fleece lining. Breathability is also unquestionable. I wore it on a 50 mile ride when the ambient temperature was above 40C with a long sleeve base layer and I was quite sweaty after the ride but I think I was overdressed from the start. The 3 pockets on the back were great and fit a TON of stuff if that's your jam. The front breast pocket was big enough for my phone. Size wise, I'm 5'10" / 203 lbs with (almost) broad shoulders and I describe myself as having a generally suitable physique for a father. Size XL was a bit big for me as a riding jacket. It works as a casual jacket, but I like my riding gear to be more form fitting so I don't have big air pockets between layers, I'm going back to size XL and going up a size and hoping for a better fit could poke the back pocket of your jersey if it gets too hot for you It's more essential than a basic/thin windbreaker, but not the kind of jacket I would wear if it were warm.
