Review on 🔌 Aluminum Soldering Connector: ShareGoo Insulated by Steve French

Great little gadget. I really struggled to get good solder joints on the XT90 connectors. The XT90 and XT60 brought out my poor soldering skills. I used my panavise to hold the plugs but the plug pins overheated and even the pins moved or fell out of the plug entirely. This little clip helps a lot as it holds the plug and seems to disperse heat. I was still having an issue with the jig sliding on my desktop so I made an extra jig to hold the ShareGoo jig. It's just a couple of 3/4 inch pieces of plywood with a couple of dowels, but it allows me to attach the jig to my workbench and the solder jig stays in place. My soldering skills probably still suck, but now I get perfect solder joints every time. I hope the photos help.
