The switch only worked occasionally and only when the ball was pushed hard to its stop.

The switch only worked sporadically and only when the ball was pressed firmly against the stop (flush with the floor surface). I checked with both a multimeter and a car wire connector. I sent the switch back and got a refund with no issues.
