The bracket is very strong - definitely overkill for our 25# 42" LED TV. On the other hand, it will withstand an earthquake even if the rest of the house collapses around it. Wall mounting it was for me a two man job: It took two minutes to attach the link bracket to the TV, but it took another person to attach the bracket (about 30# steel) to the wall (at least the first two support studs) to secure the to hold installation while another person screwed bolts into the wall stud. The lag screws are very heavy duty (1/4") so I double checked to make sure I was drilling in the center of the wall stud. The pilot hole is so small that I had to wax it (I used liquid wax and some liquid soap for this) before screwing the screw in. Failure to do so resulted in one of the screws shearing off.As the mount is very strong and my remote As it is relatively light, in my case I chose not to install the 1/4" screws in the bottom row of mounting holes, instead opting for 3" screws with washers. The top row still uses 1/4" screws. Once installed, the TV is easy to maneuver and align (my mount was set back a bit given the width of my TV). The mount pivots, pivots, stretches in all three dimensions It also hugs the wall very well but still leaves room for cables.Now I can crank up my TV while I watch TV.
