Savior! I recently adopted a young cat who followed the trash EVERYWHERE! When the tray was in my bedroom, I woke up in the morning and stepped on the tray. Not the best start in the morning. When I used to have cats, I used a similar rug that was about a quarter the size and rounded. I knew it wouldn't work with the little storm (named Stormy) raging in my bedroom. I searched and searched for a mat large enough to cover the area through which it tracked most of the debris. I read the reviews and chose this one. I was a little hesitant as some said it was difficult to clean. Impossible to remove every little piece of junk that falls down a bit. Every week I try to shake it outside. After about a day, I quickly vacuum it up with a handheld vacuum. I've had this rug for a little over a month. It didn't fall apart or get ripped to pieces by little Stormy. He doesn't seem to mind having his paws. The look of this rug is fantastic! I have a grey. Looks very decorative. I'm not ashamed to have it. All in all I would recommend this. I'm sure there are many better quality mats out there but at a higher price. For $20 I couldn't go wrong! This rug saved me hours of clean up after Stormy. I no longer have to track down every piece of junk, no matter how small. Most everything in one place! The company also provided a free sample of earbuds and a $2 coupon towards my next order. The earbuds were good, but too big for my box, but I'm definitely interested in finding the right size!
