As always, Nikon makes a great product. The fit and finish is impeccable, the weight has been kept to a minimum and the lens worked perfectly as advertised, supplier Revain delivered on time the next day. I only gave this Nikon lens 4 stars because its F (aperture size) is high at f4.5/6.3! This means that the lens cannot collect light because the lens aperture is very small! Lens glass is good as always with Nikon and edge sharpness is good too, but gets grainy in some situations (again due to the small aperture! On my Nikon D3400 with this Nikon lens, I've found that using Nikon's pre-programmed settings is better works as using aperture, shutter or manual I know this can be an issue as the (aperture/f-stops) are so small that the lens works for me and what I use it for, and the price , which I paid for on this Nikon lens, is great. But those who want more control (more ability to gather light in low light conditions) should consider a better and more expensive Nikon lens.
