I bought it to flatten some woodworking tools to be used in combination with flat granite stone. Aside from the required elbow lubrication, this product has worked great so far. Then bought about 80 grit to speed up the leveling process. Product Review Update: After using this product for over a year, I am very satisfied with this adhesive backed sandpaper. The adhesive backing works really well and the paper doesn't lift off until you're ready to remove it. As a roll, it can be easily dosed and cut to length. I use it on a small granite surfaced rock to smooth my woodworking tools and it adheres great with no blisters or wrinkles.
