I liked that it flared slightly at each end and fitted easily over the radiator and intake pipe openings. The OEM spring clamp did not seal the inlet. Two worm gears side by side worked well. They did not require over-tightening and had a large surface area that "grabbed" the hose fitting. Very satisfied. If you are using a new water pump, your new pump must come with an inlet tube. If not, you need to buy it separately, because some water pumps are sold without a bent inlet pipe.
