While it's solid and holds discs securely enough, I found that after loading 39 DVDs it wouldn't close. The clamshell hinge just isn't wide enough to accommodate a full stack of 40 discs. Each set of 20 rests comfortably on its own side of the case, but if you try to fold it in half to close it, it's pretty obvious that the only way to close it is to snap the discs shut smash. What an amazingly stupid design or production. errors. Everything is fine except for this problem. If you have a set of 20 discs that require a case, you'll be delighted. A little more and you're out of luck.
