Review on 🔪 Jean-Patrique 3.5" Chopaholic Kitchen Paring Knife - High Carbon Stainless Steel Handle, Professional Quality by Brittany Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable, agile, sharp, light, inexpensive.

Yes, I know a knife is a knife. But I really like this one. I don't know yet how well it will hold an edge, but it's ready to use right out of the box and I have a feeling it won't need sharpening as often and will sharpen well when the time comes. But that's just a guess. What I particularly like is the grip and the weight balance. The shape of the handle and the rear-facing weight distribution make it very comfortable and nimble for things like peeling fruit and vegetables, much better than the more traditional paring knives I've had. The knife is fairly light overall, but the blade doesn't feel thin enough to raise concerns about durability or the occasional flexing. All in all a surprisingly good paring knife that is a lot of fun at a very good price.
