I bought this as a gift for a friend, I decided to test it before giving it to him. I used it one evening when I was working on a car that couldn't power the work lights. It was fairly bright and had multiple lighting modes. Although the batteries supplied ran out quickly as they tend to use cheap ones and that's to be expected. I liked the magnetic base. Ideal for sticking on the hood of a car while I work and you lay the base at a 90 degree angle. There is also a hook that folds into the back of the lantern. The clip leaves a lot to be desired, it just doesn't hold up very well. The seat belt cutter and glass break are a nice feature. A spring loaded window brake might be a better feature if you can't move too much. Mounted with Velcro (not from the company) in the door pocket on the driver's side. Bright and easy to see. I hope my friend never needs a buckle knife, but if he does, I'm glad he has one.
