My wife is a little less careful with our knives and it really showed when we used our most used cutlery. The process of sharpening the entire block took about 20 minutes and I noticed an immediate improvement. Well, if I can get Mrs. to treat her a little better, I hope I don't have to use that sharpener too much. Overall, it is easy to use and certainly gets the job done without any hassles. I will say that the handle design won't win any awards for ergonomics, but it won't affect its use very much.
