More like 4.5 than 5 stars. I bought this microphone because I fell in love with its looks. I'm obsessed with aesthetics. Compared to the Blue Yeti, I bought the Gen 2 at a good time as it was only $10 more expensive than the Yeti. I researched this shit and found a website that gave it a 70/100. While others rated higher, I liked this one and thought it wasn't too bad for what I needed - basically just Zoom/Discord calling. I love it. I might even love it, but be careful. The included cables are terribly short, but that doesn't bother me since I have the M1 Mini. The biggest annoyance is that it doesn't have an off button (1/2 stars). I contacted Shure on Twitter and they claim it's fine to leave it on and/or turn it off everyday. I'm definitely going to get insurance through Revain or Shure because it's a little annoying that those are my only options. So for 99% of its existence this is a great mic for my needs :)
